WH Great War: règle optionnelle

D'après le forum Great War dont vous a parlé Oli, l'admin du site qui a participé aux parties tests nous a donné une règle optionnelle en preview.
Elle devrait sortir avec le prochain supplément.

HOLD FIRE

Any infantry unit that did not move during the movement phase may declare during the shooting phase that it will ‘hold its fire’. The unit does not shoot during the shooting phase, and may not move during the Assault Phase, even with Assault Training.

In the enemy’s turn, during the Assault Phase only, if an enemy unit declares an assault against a unit holding its fire, that unit may shoot before any assaulter is moved. Resolve the shooting of the infantry unit, that counts as having moved, and any resulting Morale test. Once the unit has shot, it does not count as ‘holding its fire’ anymore even if the assault fails (e.g. if the assaulters fall back or the assault fails due to a failed difficult terrain test).

Intéressant lorsque l'ennemi n'est pas visible mais sera à portée de charge au prochain tour.

pas mal du tout cette nouvelle régle, elle me semble renforçé un peu le réalisme du jeu
